At Neura Health, all of our patient appointments take place online using Zoom. This means you can meet with your neurology provider from the comfort of your own home—no need to travel!

If you’re feeling brain fog or confusion, don’t worry. We’re here to make the process as simple as possible. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up Zoom and join your appointment easily.

What You Need for Your Appointment

A computer, smartphone, or tablet
A strong WiFi connection
A quiet, private space
The Zoom app installed on your device

Tip: If this is your first time using Zoom, we recommend setting everything up at least 30 minutes before your appointment so you’re ready to go!

Step 1: Create a Zoom Account

(If you already have a Zoom account, skip to Step 2.)

1. Go to Zoom’s sign-up page.
2. Enter your email address and click Sign Up.
3. Check your email inbox for a message from Zoom. Click the confirmation link inside.
4. Follow the instructions to create a password and set up your account.

Note: You do not need a Zoom account to join your appointment, but having one can make it easier to access future visits.

Step 2: Download and Install Zoom

Before your appointment, download Zoom on your device:

If you're on a computer:
‍Download Zoom here. Click "Zoom Client for Meetings", then install the file.

If you're on a phone or tablet:
Go to the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for Zoom Cloud Meetings. Download and install the app.

Tip: Once installed, open Zoom once to make sure it works on your device.

Step 3: Join Your Neura Health Appointment

When it’s time for your appointment:

1. Find your Zoom link:
   • Check the confirmation email from Neura Health.
   • OR open the Neura Health app and go to the Profile page.
2. Click the Zoom link to open your appointment.
3. If prompted, click "Open Zoom" or "Launch Meeting".
4. If asked, enter your name and click “Join”.
5. You may need to enable your microphone and camera so your provider can see and hear you.

Tip: Join 5 minutes early to make sure everything is working before your provider arrives.
